Description

An Australian delivered 365GTC/4 and one of only a small handful that arrived on these shores. There were a total of 505 C/4s built, of which only 34 were in right-hand drive. This car was imported by a doctor in central Victoria and subsequently several other enthusiasts one of whom managed to hit some hard scenery during some over enthusiastic motoring at either Philip Island or Sandown. It was repaired very badly and it’s many imperfections were simply painted over in blue. On top of all that it had been reupholstered in genuine, Ford of Dagenham vinyl, and then eventually placed in a collection for going on thirty years unloved and unused. Since these ignominious times it has been exhumed, sold twice, and recently spent most of Covid being the subject of a detailed and sympathetic restoration. A true and complete “back to bare metal” exercise which guarantees there is no sign or vestige of any of the previous issues it has encountered along the way.
