Description
The Aston Martin V8 is a GT car manufactured from 1969 to 1989. As with all traditional Aston Martins, it was entirely handbuilt – with each car requiring 1,200 man hours to complete. The Series 4 version seen here is an “Oscar India” model from 1978. Just 352 of this model were produced between 1978 and 1985.
This car was built at Newport Pagnell as one of the first “Oscar India” models. It was imported to Australia in 2007 and underwent a bare-metal restoration and was repainted to Royal Blue at that time as well as being uprated to Vantage specification with parts sourced from Aston Martin in the UK.
The AMV8 has featured in several James Bond films as his personal car, including most recently in Daniel Craig’s final oputing as the famous spy in No Time To Die.
