Description
In model year 1960 the 356 A was replaced by a completely redesigned 356 B (T5). Its power range ran from 60 HP in the 356 B 1600 all the way up to 140 HP in the 356 B 2000 GS-GT Carrera 2. The main visual differences between the B series and the previous model are the front bumper including larger bumper rosettes, which were about ten centimetres higher and the headlights that were placed much higher. The horn grids next to the forward placed front flashers were flatter and had two chromed strips. The 356 was produced from 1948 to 1965 and in that time approximately 76,000 units were produced, many of which are still on the road today.
This car is one of only 11 original right-hand-drive roadsters in the world. This car was one of only 6 roadsters delivered by Norman Hamilton & Co. Porsche distributors. Originally built as the update version of the speedster with wind up windows.
Upgraded to Super 90 specification (90 BHP) and fitted with twin Weber Carburetors and a top speed of 107 MPH.
